Who we are
This website is run by The Big Marble Company, a trading name of The Big Marble Company AS, organisation number, based in Oslo, Norway.
What data I collect and why
Contact form. If you write to me through the contact form, I receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to tell me. I use it only to reply to you. Legal basis: my legitimate interest in answering your enquiry, or steps taken at your request before entering a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) and (b)).
Website technical data. Like most websites, this one is hosted by Wix, which processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and basic usage information to keep the site working and secure. I also use analytics to understand how the site is used, and this only runs if you accept analytics cookies.
Cookies. Essential cookies that make the site work, and optional analytics or marketing cookies, which are only set with your consent.
Who I share data with
I use Wix.com Ltd. to host this website and handle forms. Wix may process data outside the EU/EEA, protected by safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and email provider: Domeneshop.
How long
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle them, and it won't be longer than 12 - 24 months unless we start working together. Client records are kept as long as required by Norwegian accounting law.
Rights, complaints and changes
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to how I use it, receive it in a portable format, or withdraw consent at any time.
If you think I've handled your data badly, tell me first and I'll fix it. You also have the right to complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet), www.datatilsynet.no.
If I change this policy, the updated version will appear here with a new date.
